Away from the horns and beeps of metropolitans , we welcome you to the world of wilderness at Ranthambore where you can enjoy astonishing Forest Safari and Home like stay at TIGER HOME.

The property prime location near the Ranthambore National Park makes it suitable for wildlife lovers to have a great stay. We at Tiger Home maintain high level of hygiene standards at all times, making the stay comfortable for guests, prompt and energetic staff always remains on the beck and call of guests. Tiger Home has 8 large, air-conditioned double rooms with ensuite bathrooms and storage facilities. Split across 2 levels, it has 2 dining areas, a lounge area and a balcony on the first floor. Located just off the Ranthambore Road, with easy access to the Park, Forest Office as well as the heart of Sawai Madhopur Town.

Tiger Home is a home away from home at Sawai Madhopur, near Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. A 20-year old dream come true for Hemraj Meena, a local villager and one of Ranthambore’s leading naturalists, we aim to make wildlife enthusiasts enjoy the same comforts and delights as their own home, even as they experience the joys of Ranthambore’s amazing wildlife. At the same time, we give back to the local community by employing only locals as our staff.

A friendly and a welcoming host who is working since 1992 in the area of conservation – nature guide in park, also has 6 months experience in Indian Army Local from Ranthambore. With staying near park he was really helpful in the arrest of poachers and along with park director Mr. B.L Meena he was part of all tracking, census, bird watching, eco-tourism campaigns. And now he is the most renowned and senior nature guide in the Ranthambore National Park.

He has also played an important role in spreading awareness about wildlife importance among villagers and also assisting professional photographers in wildlife documentary such as Nalla Muthu ( National Award Winner for Tiger Dynasty in 2012) Bird watching award – Rajasthan State Award in 1996 Running guesthouse for tourists – spreading awareness in conversation area. Amateur photographer himself – with good collection of photographs.



Dharam Raj Meena

Dharmraj has been managing the Ranthambore Tiger Home for more than 6 years now and makes sure the guests have the best experience at their homestay

He has good ears and always takes the feedback to improve the services and other facilities at the homestay

He also manages the safari bookings for his guests and has a great eye for tiger whenever he accompanies his guests on the jungle safari
